The "Baby Tower" appeared in the late Qing Dynasty, usually built in the wilderness. Initially, it was a place where families concentrated to deal with seriously ill or stillborn children. The tower was built in imitation of Buddhist constructions and was also called a "righteous tower". It was burned every few days. Later, it became a site for abandoned infants, with female infants being the majority. The concept of valuing boys over girls and male superiority was deeply embedded and passed down from generation to generation. When the phenomenon of the "Baby Tower" appeared, it was the prevailing concept that supported this phenomenon and became an external expression of the ideology of the time. Using the specific symbolic concept of the "Baby Tower", which is associated with loneliness and abandonment, the artist tries to present the brutal and harsh reality in a sonorous way. The artist's understanding and perception is subjective and limited, and he records his personal views and attitudes on certain issues. After reading a large amount of relevant materials, the artist allowed his emotions to vent and recorded impromptu, which was then gradually selected and refined numerous times, resulting in this album rich in elements of darkness and traditional gloom. The artist himself also stated that the darkness in this album is more pronounced. The album consists of 8 tracks, with strong continuity between them.
